What is the difference between pay-on-completion and prepay?
Pay-on-completion means you pay the full list price when the work is delivered and approved. Prepay means you pay upfront at a 10% discount and get a 30-day money-back window from the delivery date. We confirm exact terms in writing before you commit.
What counts as delivery for the 30-day guarantee?
Delivery is when we hand you a working, live site or completed deliverable. We confirm the delivery date in writing. The 30-day refund window starts from that date.
Can I cancel my retainer or Care Plan?
Yes. Retainers and ongoing SEO are prepaid monthly. Cancel anytime before the next billing date and we refund the current month. Care Plans work the same way — month-to-month, no long-term contract.
Do I keep my work if I get a refund?
It depends what was refunded. Your domain and your own content always stay yours. For builds, ownership of the work transfers when the project is paid — a refunded build is not kept. For retainers and monthly plans, work delivered in paid months stays with you. Exact terms in your agreement.

How do retainer and prepay discounts stack?
Discounts multiply in order: list price, then retainer discount, then prepay discount. Formula: final = list × (1 − retainer%) × 0.90. Example: a $5,500 Self-Managed build for a Growth Partner (15% off) who prepays = $5,500 × 0.85 × 0.90 = $4,207.50.
Why does e-commerce say "from $6,500"?
Every store is different. SKU count, checkout complexity, integrations, and custom features change scope. $6,500 is the floor — we always scope before quoting a final price.
What is included in hosting vs. what costs extra?
Care Plans include hosting, security, backups, unlimited revisions to existing content, and up to 1 design hour per month. Net-new pages are always separate — billed at $250/hr for non-retainer clients or covered by retainer hours.

Do I own my website?
Yes. You own your domain, content, and site. We hand you everything at launch. You can move hosts, edit content, or walk away anytime. Nothing we build creates technical or contractual lock-in.
Can I update the site myself?
It depends on the package. Starter Sites are maintained by us via your Care Plan. Self-Managed Sites include a publishing backend so you can add and edit content without a developer. We train you at launch.
Why do you make it so easy to leave?

What are the two rebuild paths?
Path A ($4,000): keep your WordPress backend, add a fast new front-end — best if you publish often. Path B ($1,000): drop WordPress, rebuild in a lean static site — best if you want maximum speed and simplicity.
Is there downtime during migration?
No. We build in parallel, test thoroughly, then flip the switch. Your visitors never see a broken site.
